RESCUE AND ENGINE ASSIST ON 2ND ALARM IN UPPER CHI

Just after 1900HRS the Company along with 66(bethel),71(chester heights),63(green ridge), NCC RIT13(claymont), and 72(aston beechwood) were dispatched to assist Upper Chichester Township on a Second Alarm structure fire. Units from Upper Chi arrived with a 2 story single with heavy smoke and fire showing. The Rescue and Engine made the response with a total of 10 personell. Larkin Road command(chief 55) had all crews evacuate the building due to heavy fire load and had all units switch to a defensive attack. Units operated for about an hour before bringing the fire under control. All units were on scene assisting with overhaul and wrapping up units for about 3 hours. Thanks to Squad 52 and Engine 9-2 for covering the local.

1st Alarm: 40,55,61,RIT 45, and Medic 100-C

2nd Alarm: 39,63,71,66,72, NCC RIT 13, 68-7, and Medic 100-7
