Around 1:30 p.m. the Company along with 40 (Boothwyn), Truck and Engine 63 (Greenridge), Ladder 68 (Marcus Hook), Tower 61 (Reliance), Engine 55 (Ogden), Truck 13 NCC (Claymont), RIT 45 (Parkside), and Medic 100-7  were due in Lower Chichester for a Building Fire at Fay's Thrift Shop on Chichester Ave. Deputy 39 (Boyd) arrived right after the dispatch along with Engine 40 who were advised to check the outside wall and inside the building with the Thermal Imaging Camera. After checking the building out, Deputy 39 scaled the incident back to 39 & 40 to wrap up. It was found that a burnt cigarette fell behind the outside wall causing the insulation to smolder.
