Just after 7am the dispatch for Rescue 39 to assist the EMS with lifting assistance in the 100 block of Harvey Ave. quickly changed to a car fire when the ems crew exited the residence for supplies and realized that the ambulance was on fire (100-7). Fireboard advised Deputy 39 of the nature of the call being changed. Rescue 39 made the response and performed both fire suppression and lifting assistance.
