Just after noon Company 39 was dispatched as RIT to Bethel Rd. in Chester Township for the building fire reported to be a bedroom. Rescue 39(Boyd) hit the street within seconds of the dispatch. Chief 47 arrived first on-scene to find a two story SFD with fire from a second floor bedroom and reported all occupents were evacuated. Rescue 39 arrived as the first due engine crew followed by Truck 63 who put the stick to the roof. Rescue 39s crew went into service with a 1 3/4" line in the second floor bedroom, putting a knock on the fire. Engine 39 crew assisted with throwing ground ladders around the structure. Crews were on-scene for about 3 hours with extensive overhaul. Thanks to Engine 09 for covering and helping restore our trucks. Pictures courtesy of Gary Plotts B. Edwards and Dan Brees
